Women Techmakers is a program created by Google to celebrate International Women’s Day and to highlight the talent of women in technology.
International Women’s Day (IWD), held annually in March, is a globally-recognized time to celebrate the achievements of women and bring awareness to issues affecting gender equality.
The theme of 2024 “Impact the Future” is a call to action for women in tech to use their skills, creativity, and passion to shape the future of technology and society for the better.
